Caribbean Resort Wedding

Anytime I get to be surrounded by sandy beaches, a warm breeze and palm trees for a wedding I am one happy girl! Anna and Mike’s Caribbean Resort wedding in Florida was absolutely dreamy. The entire day was perfect.  From the tropical blooms and palms that dressed the venue, to that sunny Florida weather, and their first dance which started out slow and then turned into a dance party…

everything was 100% them: overflowing with joyful energy!

Their day started with all the girls getting ready together, drinking out of pineapples and reminiscing about how Anna and Mike’s love story began so many years ago. Little did those two know, after meeting studying abroad in Australia, would they be spending forever together. After all the traveling, time in coffee shops, Super Bowls and wine and beer tastings, their day was finally here.  Anna’s gift to Mike, a video of their travels together set to their first dance song, celebrated their journey together and left all of us with tears in our eyes.

After a romantic beach ceremony the champagne popped and the celebrating began!

Anna and Mike’s reception space was simply decorated with greenery, string lights and white linens under a breezy outdoor tent.  Small, unique touches personalized their beach wedding.   The tables were named after their travels and the card table was decorated with their favorite snapshots.

The speeches had everyone laughing and crying at the same time and Anna’s grandmother even said a surprise sweet blessing before the meal.  It was one of the cutest moments of the night and a yet another example of how loved these two both are.  After the speeches and dances were finished we snuck away for a few more portraits as the sun went down behind the tent.

of course, Anna and Mike continued their dance party on the docks as well

The Caribbean Resort offered so many stunning backdrops for some of my most favorite bride & groom portraits. Warm florals and bright green palms popped perfectly against Anna’s white dress, but we just couldn’t resist a few more pictures out over the crystal waters while the light gave way to a dreamy blue sunset.  From here on, they danced and laughed with their families and celebrated all night long.

Anna and Mike are nothing short of a perfect pair.

They bring out the best in each other and love one another to the very core! After nine years of memories, Anna and Mike have started a new chapter in their lives with so many more precious moments to come.
