Staten Island Engagement
Jess and Dave had such a special engagement session filled with things that were SO them! I headed out to Staten Island on a gorgeous September day and loved getting to know Jess and Dave. They painted, they danced, played video games…it was perfect for them!
Jess and Dave compliment each other perfectly
Their love story started back in 2009 a year after they met. Jess and Dave were both working on Staten Island right next door to each other. Once Jess’s boss introduced her to Dave they immediately hit it off. They both love science fiction, to try new foods and adventure in New York City.
Right from the beginning they knew they had something special
Almost ten years after their relationship began, Dave popped the question! Jess was having a rough day at work and began to vent to Dave all about it. He suddenly left the room leaving Jess confused. When he came back he sat next to her and said, “I’m not an extravagant person and I don’t have a beach to propose to you on”. Dave then opened the ring back and Jess was in shock! She mentioned though that he still hadn’t technically asked the question yet and Dave says, “Well do you want to marry me?!” when Jess of course said yes!
Jess and Dave are so special together. She loves him for his patience, encouragement and because he knows just how to make her laugh. And Dave absolutely loves how thoughtful and sweet Jess is. They are most excited for their wedding day at the Liberty House to see everyone together celebrating, dancing, just having a great time, but mostly to say “I do” after ten years!
